OVERVIEW

ATN Event Staffing is seeking a management professional for a project coordinator role at a top experiential marketing agency. Responsible for strategic on-site management of account team activations, as well as supporting account management initiatives with respect to assigned accounts

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in strategic planning for product and premium placement at each event
  • Takes an active role in managing and overseeing on-site event logistics and staff at events (as needed)
  • Serves as a liaison to local venues and manage the shipping process including assistance with:
    • Receiving inventory of products, premiums and equipment and determining storage location(s)
    • Coordinating the unloading of supplies from the truck and verifying inventory
    • Packing equipment at the end of the event and scheduling a pick-up time and location
  • Manages allocation and distribution of products and premiums including:
    • Verifying logistics: times, locations, and messaging
    • Serving correct products at required temperature and times
    • Ensuring appropriate quantities of products and supplies have been distributed
  • Troubleshoots and provides ongoing feedback/evaluation of local events
  • Arranges/coordinates travel schedules and reservations
  • Provides support for comprehensive end-of-year and/or program analyses
  • Contributes to account team morale and spirit
  • Takes an active role in protecting and maintaining a healthy culture at the company
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs

ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Interested in principles and practices of corporate sponsorship consulting and/or event marketing
  • Ability to:

EXPERIENCE:

Internship experience in marketing industry preferred

EDUCATION:

Senior undergraduate status or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of marketing, advertising, sports management, or business

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Standing and sitting for prolonged periods of time; occasional lifting of light to moderate weight objects

TRAVEL & RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Extensive national travel and limited local travel required, extending into nights and weekends, as well as holidays Must have reliable transportation for local travel
Must reside in the state of Illinois throughout employment
