As you may know, blood donation centers, like the Red Cross, are dependent on mobile blood drives that take place on school campuses, at worship centers, office buildings, retail centers, and so forth. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus outbreak, blood drives across the nation have been canceled resulting in a severe blood shortage nationwide. We’ve put our heads together and are hoping to enlist our database of brand ambassadors and event staff across the nation to help with this shortage by hosting our very own blood drive.
Please note: If you are under shelter-in-place or stay-at-home mandates, you are ALLOWED to give blood. Blood donations are crucial and are considered essential. “Public health officials recognize that blood donation is essential and they’ve made an exception for it.” (Source: NY Times)
