Role:  Retail/Merchandising Assistant

Event: Sporting Goods Store Opening Event

Overview: ATN Event Staffing is seeking enthusiastic Retail Assistants to support the grand opening of a major national sporting goods store’s new location. In this role, you’ll be part of the team bringing the store to life through helping with final preparations such as setting up displays, stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and assisting merchandising teams.

Each store is unique, and so are the displays. Patience, flexibility, and determination are key as the design and merchandising teams make adjustments throughout the setup process. Prior retail, merchandising, or apparel experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to jump in where needed are what matter most.

Location/Date/Hours

You will be considered for your local event

Schedule – Monday – Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
Dates- You are not required to work all dates and may select based on your availability

Job Duties:

• Support and follow direction from the onsite merchandiser/manager
• Work as part of a team to set up and arrange merchandise displays, ensuring the store layout is attractive, organized, and aligned with brand standards
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, labeling, and stocking products to maintain proper inventory levels
• Contribute to the final store preparations by helping merchandise, stock shelves, and set up displays as needed

Qualifications:

• Highly professional, well-spoken and friendly
• Takes direction well and proactive in assisting alongside the team
• A positive, patient demeanor and an ability to be flexible while the design and merchandise teams evaluate the setup of each area
