From building relationships to building brands, there is so much to love about experiential marketing. For those of us who work in the industry, it’s rewarding to see an idea transform into a campaign. And while it can be insanely stressful and hectic at times, we all work together towards one common goal – creating a positive and memorable brand experience for consumers.
We asked some of our employees why they love experiential marketing and/or why they love working in this exciting industry. Here’s what they had to say:
Blake, VP of Sales: “I love experiential marketing staffing because I never know what each day will bring, who I will speak with, or what awesomeness Team ATN will pull off. I’m excited to get up and go to work each day because we are able to work with some of the greatest event-pros in the industry. Experiential marketing will always have a special place in my heart – I LOVE IT!”
Laura, Account Coordinator: “It’s all about the people! I love working with people who understand nothing can replace positive energy and a great smile to make the difference in the success of an event.”
Vanessa, Account Manager: “I love that experiential marketing allows customers to experience products and services with their own senses. What better way to get someone to “WANT” or “NEED” the product than to let them taste, smell, or touch the product. In the experiential industry, you meet so many new and awesome people whether you work behind a desk or in the field.”
Shannon, Recruitment Manager: “Staffing for experiential events is ultimately about human connection. What I love about recruiting for promotional events is being an important part of the facilitation of this connection. In a world where digital communication keeps growing, I love being part of an industry that creates this lovely space for a face-to-face human experience to occur.”
Brendan, VP of Operations: “I love creating a lasting impression. And brands have the ability to do that. They can create an experience for the consumer if they chose. And that extends well beyond their product.”
Lisa, Marketing Manager: “There’s nothing like the energy behind experiential marketing. It ignites a spark and creates this magical connection with consumers that can’t be achieved through any other form of marketing. It has been so much fun to watch the industry grow and transform into what it is today – the technology, the immersive experiences, the storytelling. All of that is amazing, but when you get back to basic fundamentals, it’s all about face-to-face engagement, and that’s what I love the most. There are also so many amazing people that work in this industry – from the agency side to the brand ambassadors in the field. I’ve made so many great connections, it’s like one big family.”
