Full Time Brand Ambassador – Rum Brand

Job Description

Position: Brand Ambassador

Salary: $85-$95k + bonus

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Position Overview:

Join our Rum client’s team at an incredibly exciting time to help develop the brand in one of its most important markets, California. The Ambassador will support the brand team in implementing the overall brand strategy with a keen focus on maximizing brand education, velocity and visibility. The role involves working on the front lines of the business to enforce brand standards and drive sales at the ground level, calling on both national and regional accounts, as well as developing and delivering customer activities in line with overall brand marketing strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Educate brand stakeholders and customers in designated territory (importer, distributor, accounts)
  • Secure new points of distribution and cocktail placements to drive sales
  • Work closely with distributors to implement brand plans in territory
  • Conduct regular distributor work-withs and present at general sales meetings
  • Conceptualize local marketing programs and implement agreed national promotional plans with key customers
  • Organize and conduct seminars and masterclasses to increase brand awareness with consumers/trade
  • Attend consumer events, festivals and product tastings to introduce the public to the brand and raise consumer awareness and engagement.
  • Ensure correct pricing structures in both on and off-trade, in line with required margins and programs
  • Provide content on brand social media channels to amplify market specific activations
  • Regularly review market data to identify new business opportunities within territory
  • Responsible for punctual reporting on all activity to brand team

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of beverage industry experience (preferably in spirits)
  • Engaging, articulate and sociable
  • Passionate, self-motivated, creative, responsible
  • Excellent communicator: listening, writing and communications skills
  • Exceptional selling skills
  • Team player
  • Established in the industry from either/or accounts, sales, events or
  • Mixology experience (preferable)
  • Experience with events management: conception, implementation, problem-solving, learnings
  • Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
  • Organized, with the ability to prioritize and balance several projects
  • Social media awareness
  • Driver’s license and valid insurance
